Toraja Bugis Tour Packages

Day 01    : Makassar Arrival - Toraja.
Meet at Hasanuddin Airport and then you will be directly  trip to Tana Toraja. The trip  will be pass some regencies in distance of 310 km, its about 8 - 9 hours drive from Makassar the capital of South Sulawesi. On the way you will enjoy the beautiful rice field, fish pool and the Traditional Houses of Bugisnese which is adorn on the right and left side of the main road. Arrive in Tana Toraja check-in to hotel, free program.

Day 02     : Toraja Fullday Tour.
Buffet Breakfast at hotel, starting tour to visit Lemo (stone carving grave on the rock cliff), Kete Kesu (the old traditional village of Torajanese), the stone carving grave of Kete Kesu Kingdom, Londa (the oldest hanging grave) and Marante (the combination of carving stone and hanging grave) and Suaya (old royal stone graves of the seventh king). Afternoon back to the hotel, free program.

Day 03     : Toraja Fullday Tour.
Buffet Breakfast at hotel, starting tour to visit Pallawa (stone carving grave), Bori (the stone showing the existence of the funeral site of the clan) Kambira (Baby grave), Sa-dan River and Lokomata then visit traditional market to buying souvenir, cloth and stuff atc. Afternoon back to the hotel, free program.

Day 04     : Toraja - Sengkang.
After breakfast at hotel then leaving Sengkang Regency. with few stops enroute for some interesting stuff. Arrive in Sengkang, take a boat-trip on Lake Tempe to see the way of life of some people who still live on their floating houses. After that continue tour to visit the traditional silk-weaving village. Than Check-in to your hotel  for  overnight, free program.

Day 05     : Sengkang - Makassar Departure.
Buffet Breakfast at hotel, check out then leaving to Hasanuddin Airport Makassar to catch the onward flight to next destination.

Day 01 : Makassar Arrival – Sengkang
Meet at Hasanuddin Airport, pick up then transfer to Sengkang Regency. It will be take about 5 hours driver from Makassar. Upon arrival in Sengkang, check in hotel.

Day 02. Sengkang – Lake Tempe – Tana Toraja.
Breakfast at the hotel, check out then visit the weaving center where we can see women hand spin and weave traditional Bugis silk clothes. After that continue tour to visit the Lake Tempe where we will have a boat trip to explore the daily life of the local Bugis fishermen who do live on the floating houses, after that continue the trip to Tanah Toraja, the trip will pass of mountain Bampa puang. Afternoon arrive in Toraja, check in hotel.

Day 03. Toraja Fullday Tour.
Buffet Breakfast at hotel, starting tour to visit Lemo (stone carving grave on the rock cliff), Ke’te Kesu (the old traditional village of Torajanese), the stone carving grave of Ke’te Kesu Kingdom, Londa (the oldest hanging grave) and Marante (the combination of carving stone and hanging grave). Afternoon back to the hotel.

Day 04. Toraja Fullday Tour.
Buffet Breakfast at hotel, starting tour to visit Pallawa (stone carving grave), Kambira (Baby grave), Marante & Nanggala, local Torajan villages famous for their large Tongkonans and old rice barns then visit traditional market to buying souvenir and Sa’dan River also souvenir, cloth and stuff atc. Afternoon back to the hotel.

Day 05. Toraja – Makassar.
Buffet Breakfast at hotel, check out then leaving to Makassar. Arrival in Makassar afternoon Check in hotel.

Day 06. Makassar Departure.
Buffet Breakfast at hotel, check out then transfer to airport to catch your flight to next destination.
