Explorer Bugis Toraja Tour Packages

Day 01    : Makassar - Bira.
Upon  arrival  at  Hasanuddin  airport  meeting service,  then direct trip to Tanjung Bira (Bira Cape) via Gowa, Takalar, Jeneponto, Bantaeng and Bulukumba regency. In Tana Beru Village you will have a chance to admire the skillful hands of Buginese in constructing Phinisi boat, this is the Center of Phinisi Boat building in Sulawesi Island. After that continue the trip to Bira Cape, afternoon arrive in Bira. Check in Hotel and overnight.

Day 02. Bira - Kajang
After breakfast, you will be drive to visit Kajang Village, where you will explore the black culture of the primitive of Kajang ethnic, an unique tribe preferred isolation from the modern world. This tribe is ruled by a tribal and religious chief called Ammatoa. afternoon back to Bira.

Day 03. Bira - Bone - Sengkang
After breakfast, check out then continue the trip to Bone Regency, located on the center of the former Bugis kingdom for visit the Museum of Andi Mappasissi where you can find all ancient collections of the former Bone Kingdom. After that continue the trip to Sengkang Regency. Arrive in Sengkang, check in hotel and overnight.

Day 04. Sengkang - Lake Tempe - Tana Toraja
Breakfast at the hotel, check out then visit the weaving center where we can see women hand spin and weave traditional Bugis silk clothes. After that continue tour to visit the Lake Tempe where you will have a boat trip to explore the daily life of the some local Buginese Etnic people who still life on their floating houses, after that continue the trip to Tana Toraja, the trip will pass of mountain Bampa puang. Afternoon arrive in Toraja, check in hotel, overnight.

Day 05. Toraja Fullday Tour
Buffet Breakfast at hotel, starting tour to visit Lemo (stone carving grave on the rock cliff), Kete Kesu (the old traditional village of Torajanese), the stone carving grave of Kete Kesu Kingdom, visit Londa (the oldest hanging grave) and Marante (the combination of carving stone and hanging grave). Afternoon back to the hotel.

Day 06. Toraja Fullday Tour
Buffet Breakfast at hotel, starting tour to visit Pallawa (stone carving grave), Kambira (Baby grave), Marante, Nanggala, local Torajan villages famous for their large Tongkonans and old rice barns then visit traditional market to buying souvenir and Sa’dan River also souvenir, cloth and stuff atc. Afternoon back to the hotel.

 

Day 07. Toraja - Bantimurung - Makassar
Buffet Breakfast at hotel leaving, check out then trip back to Makassar. on he way back to Makassar, you will be stop at Bantimurung Waterfall to see the Biggest Waterfall in South Sulawesi while you can enjoy some of Butterfly Species. After continue to Makassar. Arrival in Makassar check in hotel, overnight.

Day 08. Makassar - Transfer Out
After breakfast, check out then directly trip back to Hasanuddin Airport Makassar to catch your flight for your next destination.
