Day 01 : Makassar Arrival (D).
Meeting service at Sultan Hasanuddin Airport, pick up then transfer to hotel, Dinner at local restaurant, free program.
Day 02 : Makassar Malino Fullday Tour (BLD).
Buffet breakfast at hotel. In the morning you will leave Makassar then trip to the town of Malino. Malino well know as fresh and fertile town is located at an altitude of around 850 meters on the slopes of the Bawakaraeng & Lompobatang mountains. Malino is beautiful located, surrounded by pine trees, green rice teraces, tea plantation and waterfalls. Historical viewed Malino was well known as a retreat for colonial Dutch, as the meeting place of East-Indonesian leaders who endorsed the Netherlands’ ill-fated plans for a federation and more recently, peace agreements have been struck for Maluku and Poso. The town is often visited during the weekends by local Makassar people. Passion fruit grows abundantly here. Malino is situated 75 kms southern of Makassar, or about 2 hours drive from Makassar. Malino is a recreation resort, there are many sorts of tropical flowers grow in this cold place. Malino also produce fruits and vegetables that are tropically grow on the slops of mount Bawakaraeng. Afternoon back to Makassar, transfer to hotel, Lunch and Dinner at local restaurant, free program.
Day 03 : Makassar Fullday Tour (BLD).
Buffet breakfast at hotel, tour to visit Royal Palace of Gowa Kingdom “Balla Lompoa” The palace was built in 1936, in traditional style on stilts, with an imposing flight of steps leading up to a large reception room, nowadays the palace was become a museum, here you can see the heritage of Gowa Kingdom, afterwards continue tour to Sultan Hasanuddin Graveyard Complex, and the Oldest Mosque in South Sulawesi call it "Masjid Katangka" The Mosque was built by King of Gowa XIV named Imangngerangi Daeng Manrabia Alauddin (Sultan Alauddin) the first king of Gowa who embrace Islam. This is the first Mosque in South Sulawesi, built in the year 1603 and it resembles the architecture of Demak Mosque. Then lunch at local restaurant. After lunch continue tour to visit Fortress Somba Opu, the fort also build by Gowa Kingdom and it was ruin by Dutch and nowday the place become as miniature of South Sulawesi where you can see the traditional houses of the 3 ethnic groups of people who live in South Sulawesi Province (Buginese, Makassarese and Torajanese). Afterwards visit Somba Opu Street which is famous as souvenirs and handycraft shopping center area. After shopping, back to hotel, dinner at local restaurant.
Day 04 : Makassar Island Tour (BLD).
Buffet breakfast at hotel, transfer to the pier then ride a boat cross to the island. First we will visit to Kodingareng Keke Island, the boat ride trip may take about 40 minute - 1 hour. Upon arrive at Kodingareng Keke Island, we will take our time to snorkeling, swim or Sunbathing. Afterwards continue to Samalona Island, upon arrive at Samalona, lunch with simple style on the beach, then continue snorkeling swim or Sunbathing on the Samalona island Beach. Afterwards back to Makassar then transfer to the hotel. Dinner at local restaurant.
Day 05 : Makassar Halfday Tour – Transfer Out (BL).
Buffet breakfast at hotel, check out then tour to visit old Port of Makassar, called Paotere, it is home to the handsome world- famous Pinisi Boats of Buginese - Makassarese Schooners, here also you may can see the fishery market and daily life of Makassar fishermen's around port. After that continue our to visit Fort Rotterdam which was built about 1545 under King Tunipallangga of Gowa. This Fort contains the La-Galigo Museum where you can find exhibits such as a model of the fort, ethnographic displays, musical instruments and heraldry and reconstructions of archaeological sites. Nowadays it is famous as a cultural center. Then Lunch at local restaurant. After Lunch directly transfer to Sultan Hasanuddin Airport Makassar for your flight back to home or others destinations. End program.
