Day 01 : Makassar Arrival – Toraja (LD).
Meeting service at Sultan Hasanuddin Airport Makassar, then directly trip to Tana Toraja. The trip will pass some regencies in distance of 310 km (it’s about 8 - 9 hour drive from Makassar). On the way you’ll enjoy the beautiful rice field, fish pool and the Traditional Houses of Bugisnese which is adorn on the right and left side of the main road. Lunch will be at Pare-pare, one of the regencies we passing by in the distance of 175 km. After lunch the trip will be continue and will arrive in Tana Toraja about late noon, then check-in to hotel, Dinner at the local restaurant, free program.
Day 02 : Toraja Fullday Tour (BLD).
Buffet breakfast at hotel, starting Toraja tour to visit Ke’te Kesu (traditional wooden carving village and hanging grave), Marante (is a village where a lot of Tongkonan House, big paddy barns and big rocky hill containing hanging stone graves which the located called "Erong"), Bori menhir stones, soared up several meters above the land and then lunch at local restaurant, after wards continue tour to visit Pallawa (The most beautiful village with buffalo horns in front off their houses) and Lokomata (the boulder grave) then visit Sa'dan To'Barana, the traditional cotton weaving village. Afternoon back to the hotel, Dinner at the local restaurant, free program.
Day 03 : Toraja Fullday Tour (BLD).
Buffet breakfast at hotel, starting Toraja tour to visit Londa (the natural cave grave), Lemo The cliff-side stone grave with wooden effigies on the balcony, the royal family tombs at Suaya then lunch at local restaurant. Afterwards continue tour to visit Kambira (Baby grave) and Sangalla, village lying among the leafy bamboo trees and the tomb of King Sangalla. Afternoon back to the hotel, Dinner at the local restaurant, free program.
Day 04 : Toraja – Sengkang (BLD).
Buffet breakfast at hotel, check out then leaving to Sengkang Regency with few stops enroute for some interesting stuff. The trip will be take about 5 - 6 hour drive. Lunch will be served en-route. Upon arrive in Sengkang, visit the weaving center where we can see women hand spin and weave traditional Bugis silk clothes, Sengkang well know as the central of Buginese Silk Weaving, here you may see people weaving Sarong, Tshirt and many more with many style and models. After that continue tour to visit the Lake Tempe where we will have a boat trip to explore the daily life of the local Buginese fishermen who do still live on the floating houses. Afterwards check in to the hotel, dinner at local restaurant.
Day 05 : Sengkang – Tanjung Bira – Selayar Island (BLD).
Breakfast at hotel, check out then heading to Tanjung Bira Ferry Harbor. The total trip may be take about 10 - 11 hour drive including time on ferry cross to Selayar Island. Lunch will be served en-route. Upon arrive at Bira ferry harbor, take rest while waiting ferry, once the ferry available, we will cross to Selayar Island, the ferry trip may take about 2 hour. Upon arrive at Pamatata harbor, continue trip to Benteng City, main city of Selayar Island. From Pamatata to Benteng will take about 2 hour drive. Dinner will be served en route or upon arrive in Benteng City. Upon arrive at Benteng, check in hotel, free program.
Day 06 : Selayar Island Tour (BLD).
Simple breakfast at the hotel / resort / bungalow, today we will have time to visit Nekara Museum, Gong Nekara, and Bitombang Old Village, its quite unique villages since the land topography is not flat as most land, so that has extremely high pole house for about 12 m high in the back side, while the front of the house is lower about 1 - 2 m high. The pole of the house usually use a high quality woods in Selayar traditional language call it "Batti/holasa", and the pole of the house can last for hundreds of years. Lunch will be served an-route with simple style. Afternoon back to hotel, dinner at local restaurant.
Day 07 : Selayar Island Snorkeling (BLD).
Simple breakfast at the hotel, by ride wooden boat, today you will have time to snorkeling around Selayar Island on East Coast or West Coast of Selayar Island, or Pasi Island, depend on weather on the day snorkeling. Lunch will be served on the beach with simple picnic style. Afternoon back to hotel, dinner at local restaurant.
Day 08 : Selayar – Tanjung Bira – Liukkang Island* (BLD).
Simple Breakfast at the hotel, early check out then leaving to Pamatata Harbor to catch morning ferry for cross to Bira. Upon arrive at bira, we will continue to visit Liukkang Island, the boat ride may take about 20 minute. Upon arrive at Liukkang Island, these island surrounded by white sand beaches with clear crystal water, here we may swim, sunbathing, or do snorkeling. Lunch will be served on the beach with simple style. In the afternoon back to Bira, check in hotel, dinner at local restaurant or at hotel/resort.
* If you come during West Season or Rainy Season (December to April), then we may can't visit Liukkang Island since the waves may big, the snorkeling may move to East Part of Bira, around Bira Harbor.
Day 09 : Tanjung Bira – Kajang Tribe (BLD).
Breakfast hotel / resort, tour to visit Kajang Village, where we will explore the black culture of the primitive Kajang ethnic. The Kajang people is sub-ethnic to Makassar ethnic groups, who inhabited a particular area. The area and the people are quite isolated from other people of Bulukumba. The Head of this group who is ruled by a tribal and religious is called "Ammatoa". For those who are eager to see him are obliged to wear a black shirt and black "Sarong" barefooted is much better. They live harmoniously with the nature and they do not use a modern facility i.e means of transportation. For that reason, no cars and the likes are permitted to enter this area. Lunch we will be served en-route. In the afternoon, back to Tanjung Bira. We also will stop at Tana Beru Village, we will have a chance to admire the skillful hands of Pinisi boat craftsmen, this is the Center of Pinisi Boat craftsman in Indonesia. If we have time, we can visit Panranluhu Beach before arrive in Bira. Upon arrive in Bira, free program, you may have time to swim, or sunbathe around Tanjung Bira Beach or Relax on the beach. Dinner at the local restaurant or at hotel.
Day 10 : Tanjung Bira – Makassar (BLD).
Breakfast at hotel, check out then leaving to Makassar, the trip may take about 5 - 6 hour drive, depending on traffic road. Lunch will be serve en-route or in Makassar. On the way we will stop to visit the Royal Palace of Gowa Kingdom “Balla Lompoa” The palace was built in 1936, in traditional style on stilts, with an imposing flight of steps leading up to a large reception room, nowadays the palace was become a museum, here you can see the heritage of Gowa Kingdom, afterwards continue tour to visit Fort Rotterdam which was built about 1545 under King Tunipallangga of Gowa. This Fort contains the La-Galigo Museum where you can find exhibits such as a model of the fort, ethnographic displays, musical instruments and heraldry and reconstructions of archaeological sites. Nowadays it is famous as a cultural center, then transfer to the hotel for check in, dinner at local restaurant, overnight.
Day 11 : Makassar Transfer Out (B).
Buffet breakfast at hotel, free program while waiting transfer to Sultan Hasanuddin Airport Makassar for your flight back to home or to the next destination. End program.
